We have a long history of maintaining competitive fees. Each and every patient wants to receive value for what they pay, and we all love the occasional discount, or finding a coupon that will give us a lower price.
We advise our patients to be careful of trying to find the "cheapest” surgeon. In life, we get what we pay for and that most people have been disappointed somewhere, sometime.
Trust is probably the most important ingredient in a patient-physician relationship. A patient has to have the feeling that their doctor will provide them with high quality care, a safe journey through the surgery, and hopefully an uncomplicated recovery. Most patients now have the capability of doing extensive research to find a doctor that they feel comfortable with.
We have taken care of patients who have had a disastrous outcome because they didn't do the proper research or because they looked for the cheapest doctor. Most doctor's are very capable, and in our practice, We can honestly say that most doctors are very concerned about the welfare of their patients.
To save a few hundred dollars, and compromise the final result is a pity indeed. We see this in patients who have their surgery in foreign countries. They are often at great risk, and the complications We have taken care of would speak many pages of a book about problems after surgery. “Save a penny, lose a dollar” couldn’t be more true in these situations.
In an effort to fully support our patients, Dr. Volshteyn take 24-hour call, 7 days a week for our own patients. If he can’t be reached, one of his trusted colleagues automatically takes the call. This is the type of care that goes far beyond finances.
As part of our commitment to taking care of our patients, we do not charge for post-op visits. We encourage our patients to return for their post-op and follow-up visits, and we do not want finances to get in the way of this important ongoing care.
As mentioned, we make every effort to have fair, competitive fees. We, therefore, do not discount our surgical fees, unless multiple procedures are performed. What we do for one patient, is only fair if we do it for all our patients. We have found that this philosophy works best for most of our patients.
We understand that sometimes patients need to borrow money, and we, therefore, make available a variety of financing plans that help our patients. We research these plans carefully to make sure they deliver what they say they will. For more information on financing, please refer to section below.
Whenever possible, we will help patients with their insurance plans. Most of the surgery we do is not covered by insurance plans.
The following fee schedule should be of help to you in deciding if you can afford the surgery. It is always best to speak to our staff regarding your desires. We customize our surgical procedures to be in harmony both with the patient’s desires and also with what can be accomplished, given your anatomical circumstances.
Without seeing you in person for a consultation and examination, these fees can only be estimates. The estimates below include the surgical fees, post-op care, binders, and garments as needed.
Anesthesia fees and operating room fees vary depending on location (Reno or Carson City) and individual anesthesiologist. During your personal consultation we will be happy to discuss these in greater detail.
Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Procedures:
Abdominoplasty: Approximately $3500 to $5500 depending on size, scope of the surgery and need for muscle repair.
Breast Enlargement: A fee starting from $2500 is the usual fee for a straight forward breast enlargement without a lift. This includes the surgical fees, and post-op care. Implants, pain pumps, operating room and anesthesia are not included.
Breast Lift and Breast Reduction: There are many anatomical variations that require individual customized treatment. Please call us for an appointment and we will be happy to help you.
Eyelids:
Upper Eyelid Surgery: approximately starting from $2800.
Lower Eyelid Surgery: approximately starting from $3200 and up depending on the need for lid tightening and also fat transfers to depressions near the side of the nose.
Upper and Lower Eyelid Surgery: approximately $5,000 without additional procedures as above.
Facial Cosmetic Surgery:
Cannot be quoted because of the many options available. If you know what you would like to accomplish. Please call us for an appointment and we will be happy to help you.
Labia Reduction: Approximately from $3200.
Liposuction: The area(s) involved, extent of fat, and patient desires, make this an area that is difficult to quote without a proper examination. Please call us for an appointment and we will be happy to help you.
Rhinoplasty: Difficult to quote fees because of the many variations possible as well as airway problems. Approximately from $3950 and up but best to call for consultation. This includes the surgical fees, and post-op care. Implants, operating room and anesthesia are not included.
Office Procedures Restylane: $500 per 1 cc syringe; Radiesse: from $800
Fat Grafting: Varies, needs to be determined at time of consultation.
Botox:
Depending on location and complexity $12-14 per unit. On average, actual cost varies from $250-275 per area: forehead, glabella, or crow feet.

Most insurance companies do not cover the costs of cosmetic procedures, so in the past, patients had to use cash or charge plastic surgery to their credit cards. We can help you to determine which of the programs shown below can fulfill your needs.
With many of these companies you can apply for a credit line even before coming to your office. If you have excellent credit rating you can apply without a cosigner. If you had some credit problems in the past, or your credit score is below 700, consider adding a co-signer. If you do that with your original application, the whole process will be much faster and we will be able to schedule your surgery without any delays. Many companies do not consider spouses as cosigners as the income is usually shared anyway. Consider friends, parents, brothers, sisters, or children with good credit.
CARECREDIT FINANCING

RELIANCE FINANCE COMPANY
The cosmetic surgery-lending field is overwrought with brokers and companies posing as lenders. Reliance Finance uses its own money; they are a lending institution that gives funds directly the doctor. Unlike most other brokers in the cosmetic surgery-lending field, Reliance does not place excessive fees on your account. Your relationship with the doctor should center on medicine, not money.
