Brow Lift in New Jersey

The forehead is often one of the first areas to develop signs of aging due to the frequent muscle movement that occurs in the area. At Atlantic Surgical Associates, we provide a brow lift procedure to help patients address these effects and restore a youthful appearance. We welcome patients from Edison, East Brunswick, West Long Branch, and the neighboring cities of New York and New Jersey.

What is a Brow Lift?

A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, is a surgical technique designed to eliminate wrinkles and other signs of aging in the forehead. A sagging brow can make a person look tired or angry, making them appear older than they really are. A brow lift rejuvenates the forehead area, smoothing out wrinkles to produce a refreshed, youthful appearance. Although the brow lift is an effective procedure on its own, many patients choose to combine it with other facial surgery techniques such as a blepharoplasty for more comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

How Much Does a Brow Lift Cost?

The cost of your brow lift treatment will vary depending on the extent of surgery necessary to produce your desired results. During your consultation, you and Dr. Volshteyn will discuss your cosmetic goals in order to determine the best approach to your brow lift procedure. Once your treatment plan is developed, we will be able to provide you with the cost of your treatment. What is the Brow Lift Procedure Like?

Brow lift surgeries are performed under general anesthesia to keep patients safe and comfortable during the procedure. During the procedure, incisions will be made just beyond and along the hairline, where it is well-hidden by the hair. Through these incisions, Dr. Volshteyn will remove excess skin to eliminate wrinkles and lift the brows. Once your desired results are produced, the incisions will be closed and the treatment will be complete.

What is the Recovery Period Like After a Brow Lift?

After a brow lift, patients may need to take about one week off of work and other normal activities in order to rest and heal. During this time, it is common to experience bruising, swelling, and varying levels of discomfort. After the initial recovery period, patients will have to take extra care to avoid exercise and other strenuous activities for at least a month. It is important to note that the full results from your brow lift will not be visible until these side effects subside. Patients are encouraged to get as much rest as possible during this time in order to facilitate a speedy recovery.

Are the Results from a Brow Lift Permanent?

The brow lift procedure eliminates excess skin from the forehead to produce long-lasting and even permanent results. However, the results from your brow lift can still be affected by the natural aging process. The brow lift surgery will significantly rejuvenate the forehead area, but you will still continue to age normally. We encourage patients to maintain healthy diet and exercise habits in order to make their results last as long as possible.
